Correspondence, minutes, contracts, financial records, stock records, and other materials relating largely to Scott's career as a theater manager and owner in Minneapolis and St. Paul (Minn.), and to the continuation of these activities by his wife Elizabeth after his death. His theatrical career began in 1882 when William F. Davidson placed him in charge of the Grand Opera House in St. Paul.
